Welder | Boilermaker | Vehicle Body Builder

We’re looking for an experienced Welder, Boilermaker, Fabricator or Vehicle Body Builder to join a busy and growing workshop team in Berrinba .

You’ll be working as part of a hands-on team focused on truck body fabrication, welding and assembly . The role involves a combination of skilled fabrication work and consistent, repeatable workshop tasks , making it well suited to someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in their workmanship and values getting quality work completed efficiently.

You’ll be working with experienced tradespeople in a professional workshop environment where safety, quality and reliability are highly valued.

What You’ll Be Doing

- MIG welding truck bodies, components and fabricated structures

- Fabricating and assembling truck body components

- Carrying out modifications to fabricated structures

- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, measurements and specifications

- Using workshop machinery, tools and equipment safely and efficiently

- Completing tasks to a consistent, high-quality standard

- Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets and deadlines

- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workshop environment

We’re open to candidates from a range of trade backgrounds, including:





- Welder

- Boilermaker

- Fabricator

- Vehicle Body Builder

- Truck Body Builder

- Experienced workshop tradesperson

To be successful, you’ll have:

- Solid MIG welding and fabrication experience

- Previous experience in a workshop, truck body or fabrication environment

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

- Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship

- Good practical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Comfortable working in a structured and sometimes repetitive production environment

- Strong commitment to safety and quality

- Current QLD Driver’s Licence

- HR Licence advantageous

- Trade qualification highly regarded, but experienced candidates without formal qualifications will also be considered
