As our firm continues to grow, we’re looking for a detail-driven and proactive Bookkeeper to join our friendly and professional team.

About the Role

As a key member of our practice, you will support our accountants and clients by managing day-to-day bookkeeping functions with accuracy, efficiency, and a strong commitment to client service. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a public practice environment and thrives on variety.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end bookkeeping for a range of clients
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- BAS and IAS preparation and lodgement
- Payroll processing and superannuation compliance
- Maintain accurate financial records and client files




- Assist accountants with year-end preparation
- Communicate with clients regarding queries and documentation

About You

You’ll be someone who takes pride in your work, enjoys building client relationships, and can manage multiple tasks with confidence.

Essential skills and experience:

- Previous bookkeeping experience within an accounting firm or similar environment
- Strong knowledge of GST, BAS, and payroll
- Proficiency with accounting software (Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks or similar)
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication skills and a client-focused mindset

Desirable:

- Experience working in a public practice environment
