ABOUT THE ROLE

As a hospital maintenance person, you will be required to repair and maintain the facility and demonstrate a can-do easy approach to problem solving on a daily basis.

DUTIES

- You will be required to undertake the following, however not limited to:
- Ensuring all emergency, preventative and legislative maintenance is carried out in compliance with all State and Regulatory requirements.
- Understanding how to procure maintenance services and equipment in a cost-effective manner.
- Thoroughly understanding all facility services and mains i.e., Gas, water and power mains and how to isolate.
- Provide a secure, clean,



quality facility that promotes person centered care.
- Demonstrate an ability to learn and continuously improve all maintenance operations at the facility.
- Other ad hoc duties.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous Maintenance experience in Facilities or Accommodation setting as a Maintenance all-rounder/ Handy Person

Desirable Qualifications:

Trade Qualification is desirable

Carpentry qualification is desirable

Test and Tag Qualification (unless qualified as an Electrician) desirable

Highly developed customer service skills

Highly developed written and verbal skills

Previous experience in a health care setting desirable
