Are you a spray painter or panel beater who takes real pride in your work? We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established national company in the refrigerated transport industry for an experienced tradesperson to join their Repairs Team in Greystanes. If you've got fibreglass, painting and fabrication skills and want to work on quality equipment, this is a great opportunity.

It has depots across Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and Western Australia, along with its own production facility. The Greystanes site is close to the M4 and M7 and repairs refrigerated truck bodies from all manufacturers.

About the Role

You’ll carry out spray painting, panel beating and fibreglass repairs on refrigerated truck bodies, with plenty of variety from day to day.



It suits someone confident and hands-on who likes being trusted to get the job done right the first time.

Key Responsibilities

- Spray paint truck bodies and components to a high finish
- Carry out panel beating and general body repairs
- Repair and modify damaged fibreglass parts to meet specific requirements
- Perform minor fabrication and welding as needed
- Keep your work area safe, clean and organised
- Work closely with the team to meet repair deadlines

What We're Looking For

- Previous spray painting and/or panel beating experience
- Experience completing body repairs and surface preparation
- Confident with sanding, filling, masking and finishing
- Fibreglass repair experience highly regarded
- Truck, trailer, bus, coach or commercial vehicle experience highly regarded
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current driver's licence
- Full Australian working rights

Experience within truck/trailer repairs, heavy vehicles, buses/coaches, automotive body repair or similar environments will be highly regarded.
