Commercial / Industrial Site Supervisor - (Taree - Port Macquarie)

The ATB Morton Group of Companies is an Australian, privately owned, vertically integrated manufacturing, industrial services and construction business with over 40 years of experience.

Due to our continued growth and a strong pipeline of projects across the Hunter region, we're building out our Newcastle team and seeking a Commercial / Industrial Site Supervisor to join us with recent and exciting upcoming projects based between Taree and Port Macquarie.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
Supervise and lead the construction team, including subcontractors and trades
n
Planning and management of project time schedules and deadlines
n
Ensure WHS compliance, regulations, codes of practice and site inductions
n
Quality assurance of work
n
Implementing and administering effective and effective building management strategies
n
Take initiative and manage the day to day operations on site
n
Read,



understand and interpret construction and project plans
n
Address design and construction issues that arise on site
n
Inspect work to ensure it meets plans and relevant building codes
n
Requirements
n
Previous experience in a supervisory industrial and commercial construction role
n
Working knowledge of WHS procedures
n
Demonstrated commitment to, and knowledge of, HSE and quality management
n
Ensure that the project is delivered to the required quality specification, including quality and ITP documentation.
n
Very robust verbal and written communication skills required for internal and external dealings and negotiations
n
Hold a current driver's license
n
Be available to work overtime
n
PLEASE NOTE: The successful applicant will be required to undertake a full pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol test, then participate in random on site testing.
