About the role

This entry-level position offers the challenge and opportunity to produce high quality and engaging digital media products for a variety of platforms and audiences. The role enhances and protects QFF's image, brand and reputation as Queensland's peak agricultural advocacy body. As a part of a collaborative and high performing QFF team, the role will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day communications and media requirements of the organisation.

As Digital Content Specialist, you'll support the General Manager, Marketing and Communications to raise awareness of QFF, its projects and its priorities. You'll design and produce static and interactive multimedia content: graphics, videos, interactive simulations and more, across a range of platforms, including recording and editing video, and capturing photography and audiovisual content where required.

Working across multiple projects and policy priorities, you'll translate QFF's purpose into multimedia products that support farmers, influence policymakers and strengthen partnerships, helping to deliver better outcomes for regional communities across Queensland.

About you

You're a skilled multimedia storyteller, equally comfortable behind a camera, in a design program or piecing together video content that brings a story to life. Your communication skills are growing and you are enthusiastic to learn how to ‘read the room’ and develop materials that connect with everyone from farmers to policymakers. Importantly,



even though you might be in the early stages of your career you have a sharp eye for detail that lets you quickly digest and distil information, whether it's spoken, visual or written. into something clear and compelling.

You have a positive, can-do attitude and a genuine curiosity about agriculture and an eagerness to keep learning. You're a mature and collaborative team player with the interpersonal skills to build strong working relationships, and you thrive on juggling multiple priorities and deadlines across different teams. Confident with IT and the Microsoft Office suite, you hold (or are working towards) a bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, design or a related field. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered. A current C class driver's licence rounds out your profile.

Ability to use design software and video editing software. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite would be regarded as an advantage.

Understanding of advocacy and not‑for‑profit work.

Constructively influence others to consider and support QFF policy positions.

Other duties:

Some travel maybe required within and outside of the region.
