Job Description

CD AIRCONDITIONING PTY LTD Job responsibilities Installing single split, multi-head, bulkhead, cassette, ducted and VRF air conditioning systems. Installing HVAC equipment from manufacturers including Daikin, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI), Mitsubishi Electric, Fujitsu, Samsung, Midea, Rinnai and Panasonic. Installing refrigerant copper pipework, insulation and condensate drainage systems, including drilling holes, installing mounting brackets, and cutting and bending copper pipework.

Performing copper brazing, pressure testing and vacuum evacuation. Performing refrigerant charging, leak testing and system commissioning. Installing ductwork, grilles, diffusers and ventilation components.

Completing electrical power and control wiring connections and testing and adjusting system controls during commissioning of air-conditioning equipment. Testing system operation and ensuring correct performance after installation. Performing fault finding, repairs and rectification works, including replacing defective components where required.

Servicing and maintaining air conditioning systems to ensure reliable operation.



Reading installation drawings and following project specifications. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in accordance with Australian Workplace Health and Safety requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

Proven experience as an Air-conditioning Mechanic or in a similar role. Problem-solving ability, with a high level of attention to detail. Shows adaptability and dependability across all assigned tasks. Works effectively within a team and coordinates well with others.
