About the Role:

Based on site in Melbourne CBD, the Sales and Marketing Coordinator is a pivotal role within the Sales & Marketing team, responsible for gaining future clients, fostering long-lasting relationships with clients and guests whilst ensuring that our marketing campaigns, events and corporate bookings come to life.

- Work closely with both Sales and Marketing Managers and Directors
- Upkeep of digital and social media platforms, assist with promotional and sponsorship requests, seek creative partnership opportunities reflective of the Hyatt Centric brand, and work with the graphic designer and print supplier to bring marketing campaigns to life with impactful visual content.
- Work with the Food & Beverage team to develop compelling offers, conduct competitor analysis to ensure promotions remain competitive and innovative, and assist in creating digital marketing assets, menus and collateral.
- Implement effective sales and marketing strategies to increase room and corporate bookings, events, and extend market reach.
- Efficiently handle sales enquiries, prepare quotes and contracts using Envision,



assist with sales lead follow-up and hotel site inspections, and develop long-lasting relationships with clients on a day-to-day basis.
- Provide administrative support to the Food & Beverage department.

Qualifications

About you:

To be successful in this role you will require the following attributes:

- Previous work experience in hotel sales and marketing is advantageous
- A creative aptitude to actively incorporate a sense of originality into both the sales and marketing sectors
- Experience with InDesign, Canva, and a solid understanding of design specifications are highly advantageous.
- Confident in managing social media accounts, creating engaging content, and maintaining brand voice across digital platforms
- Exceptional copywriting skills, with the ability to create engaging and brand-aligned content across websites, digital platforms, email campaigns, and social media channels
- Solid attention to detail, exceptional organisational and time management skills
- A solid understanding of sales and marketing principles and techniques
- Ability to create a positive first impression with relevant stakeholders
- Tertiary qualifications in Hospitality / Event Management or related business education is advantageous
