Trade Sales Rep - Kitchens & Cabinetry, Panel Products

About the role

We are looking for a trade sales professional with a strong understanding of the kitchen, cabinetry or joinery industry (or similar). This is a hands-on, road-based sales role working directly with kitchen manufacturers, cabinet makers, joiners, builders and other trade businesses.

You will spend most of your time on the road visiting workshops, manufacturing facilities and trade businesses, building relationships with customers, understanding how they operate and identifying opportunities to grow sales. This is not a showroom, interior design or architectural specification position.

You will need to be confident dealing directly with tradespeople and business owners, understand the realities of a trade environment and have proven experience working directly with trade customers.

In this role, you will:

Conduct product demonstrations and introduce customers to new products and ranges.

Provide product information, pricing, availability and delivery lead-time advice.

Follow up quotes, opportunities and customer enquiries.

Work closely with the internal sales and operations teams to ensure customers receive a high level of service.

Build long-term customer relationships and identify opportunities to increase sales.





The position is primarily focused on Sydney and Canberra, with flexibility to work from your home office for planning, follow-up and administration.

Requirements

Significant experience in a similar role or industry is required.

A valid driver's licence, with secure storage at home for product samples and sales materials. A company car will be provided.

Product training will be provided, however the ability to learn quickly and apply product knowledge is essential.
