As a Light Vehicle Mechanic with G & M COCHRANE & SONS PTY LIMITED' in Wagga Wagga NSW, you will be responsible for the servicing and repair of a range of light vehicles. This is a full time role where you will work as part of a close-knit team to provide high-quality mechanical services to our valued customers.

What you'll be doing

- Perform routine maintenance and servicing tasks on light vehicles, including oil changes, brake repairs, registration inspections and repairs, clutches , timing belts, wheel bearings, etc
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in light vehicles using advanced diagnostic equipment
- Maintain detailed records of all work completed, parts used, and customer interactions
- Provide exceptional customer service and liaise with customers to understand their needs
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and techniques
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure efficient and effective operations

What we're looking for





- An Australian trade qualification in light vehicle mechanics or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience working as a Light Vehicle Mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to contribute to the success of the business
- Being an AIS Examiner would be an advantage
