An opportunity is available for a reliable and motivated Therapy Assistant at our brain rehabilitation service in East Victoria Park, Oats Street, as part of our dedicated disability services team. This is a permanent full time opportunity, working insert details of working Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm.

To be suitable for this role, you must possess:

- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences
- The ability to prioritise your workload, problem solve, and work safely and efficiently under pressure without direct supervision
- A positive, proactive and a client-focused approach
- A Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance (or progress towards), or significant experience in a related setting and a willingness to undertake training
- A ‘C’ class drivers licence and own a reliable car

- A satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than 12 months old

- A Valid NDIS clearance





Therapy Assistants work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to actively promote choice, control and quality of life for our clients.

Responsibilities include:

- Ensuring the holistic needs of our clients are met in accordance with their Care Plan by facilitating a variety of therapeutic and recreational programs
- Contributing to the development of cutting-edge therapy programs to improve the wellbeing of our clients
- Supporting volunteers to enhance the site therapy program
- Contributing to site reporting, disability service standards and legislative compliance by completing all documentation and reporting incidents
