Production Chef – Sydney Airport T2 (SSP Australia)

About the Role

SSP Australia is seeking experienced Production Chefs to join our main Production Kitchen at Sydney Airport T2 on a Full-time or Part-time basis .

You will work alongside a professional Head Chef and an experienced culinary team, supported by strong leadership. We are looking for chefs from Commis Chef through to Chef de Partie level who are confident in food preparation, cooking and supporting the smooth operation of a busy production kitchen.

The ideal candidate will bring a positive, can-do attitude and the ability to confidently manage the pass , while maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, food safety and kitchen operations.

What skills and experience are we looking for?

- At least 2 years’ experience working as a Chef in a similar kitchen workplace

- Certificate III or higher in Commercial Cookery (Essential)

- Food Handlers Certificate (Essential)

- Experience working in a large or high-volume kitchen team

- Confident in cooking and managing the pass

- Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene and WHS practices

- Organised, reliable and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

- A positive, collaborative and can-do attitude with a passion for food
