Lake Macquarie is seeking experienced and enthusiastic Critical care and Coronary Care trained Registered Nurses to join our casual pool, working in a10 bed CCU.

About the Role

In this role, you will provide expert, high-acuity nursing care to critically ill cardiac patients, utilising advanced electrocardiogram (ECG) monitoring, managing specialised cardiac technologies, and executing rapid interventions during acute cardiovascular emergencies.

As a member of our clinical team you will be planning, evaluating and delivering care to patients with the support and guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality service is provided to our patients.

About You

You will be a trained nurse with exceptional customer service, confident communication, and strong interpersonal skills. You will also demonstrate:

- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Cardio-thoracic or CCU setting.
- Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
- Highly organised with a proven ability to manage emergency situations
- Demonstrates robust adaptability in dynamic situations
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
- Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster

Remuneration

A competitive salary:



A base hourly rate of$40.24 - $56.52 + superannuation, exclusive of penalties and allowances (NSW RN/Midwife Gr1-Gr8)
