Grandcity Travel is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Travel Consultant to join our team in Glen Waverley, Victoria. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional travel experiences to our clients. As a Travel Consultant, you will be the cornerstone of our business, responsible for transforming travel dreams into unforgettable journeys. You will work directly with clients to understand their needs, recommend suitable destinations and travel packages, and manage all aspects of their bookings. Your expertise and personal touch will be instrumental in building lasting relationships with clients and driving the success of Grandcity Travel.

What you'll be doing

- Consulting with clients to understand their travel preferences, budget constraints and specific requirements
- Researching and recommending suitable travel destinations, accommodation options, flights and tour packages tailored to individual client needs
- Preparing detailed travel itineraries and quotations for clients
- Processing travel bookings, including flights, accommodation, car rentals and travel insurance
- Liaising with travel suppliers, airlines, hotels and tour operators to confirm bookings and resolve any issues
- Providing pre-travel advice including visa requirements, travel documentation and destination information
- Managing client payments and reconciling travel invoices
- Maintaining accurate client records and travel booking documentation
- Staying up-to-date with travel destinations, attractions, special offers and industry developments
- Building and nurturing client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals





What we're looking for

- Work Experience: Proven working experience in travel agencies.
- Skills: Experience in ticketing sales and OP (Tour Operator/Operation)
- Language: Fluent in both Chinese and English, with the ability to use both proficiently as working languages for domestic and international communication.
- Soft Skills: Passionate about the tourism industry, excellent communication skills and strong teamwork abilities.
