Based in Brendale, we are recruiting for a Service Desk Technician (Level 1) to join our Service Desk team, providing 1st level IT support

Experience

Ideally, you will have 6 months work experience in a similar position.
Essential Technical Requirements:

Prior experience withan MSP supporting any of thefollowing technologies will be highly regarded:

Desktop and Server Operating Systems

Workstation (Laptop, Desktop, Mobility devices)

Server (Physical and Virtual)

Active Directory, DNS, DHCP

Office 365, Sharepoint

General Networking (understanding of routers, switches, wireless)

Ideally field experience and client facing history





Excellent communications skills, verbal and written

Excellent documentation skills including formatting and presentation

Ability to multi-task, prioritise and problem solve

A solid work ethic and the desire to learn and develop

Drivers License

The Role

Installing, supporting and maintaining desktops, notebooks and mobile devices

Installing, supporting and maintaining server hardware and software infrastructure

Installing, supporting and maintaining IP PBX systems and handsets

Remote and Onsite support

Identifying appropriate components, hardware and software to be recommended to the client

Preparing documentation and presenting progress reports to customers

Other projects and duties as assigned
