Cardiff Based company is seeking an experienced HC & MC Truck Drivers to join our team in Newcastle, NSW. This is a full-time position that will see you playing a vital role in our road transport operations. If you have a strong background in heavy vehicle driving and a passion for delivering excellent customer service, we want to hear from you.
What you’ll be doing
- Safely operating heavy combination vehicles (HC or MC license required) to transport goods and materials across our distribution network
- Loading and unloading vehicles in a timely and efficient manner
- Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Maintaining accurate delivery records and logs
- Providing exceptional customer service to clients
- Complying with all relevant road transport regulations and company policies
- Restraining loads correctly and securely.
Full-time with hours being Monday to Friday with some overtime and weekends as required.
What we’re looking for
- A current HC or MC driver’s license with a minimum of 1 years’ experience operating heavy combination vehicles
- Strong knowledge of road rules and protected driving practices
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dangerous good experience/licence would be an advantage but not essential.
- Willing to obtain a DG License our company will payto assist you if your successful
