We are looking for an organised and reliable Purchasing Clerk to join our team at our door and timber manufacturing business in Lansvale NSW 2166 .

The role involves processing purchase orders, purchasing timber and hardware, liaising with suppliers, obtaining quotes, following up deliveries and ensuring materials are available when required.

Key responsibilities:

- Process and maintain purchase orders
- Purchase timber, hardware and production materials
- Liaise with suppliers regarding pricing, availability and delivery
- Obtain and compare supplier quotes
- Follow up outstanding orders and delayed deliveries
- Monitor stock requirements and assist with replenishment
- Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier records
- Work closely with production, warehouse and sales teams

About you:

- Previous purchasing, procurement or administration experience preferred




- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good communication and computer skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Proactive, reliable and able to work independently

Experience in manufacturing, timber, doors, hardware or building products will be highly regarded. Experience with an ERP or purchasing system is an advantage.
