Miniversity Early Learning Centre – Mundingburra QLD

Miniversity Early Learning Centre is seeking a Diploma Qualified Educator to join our team in Mundingburra, QLD. This is a part- or full-time position offering flexibility whilst making a meaningful impact on early childhood development. As a Diploma-Qualified Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing, stimulating environment where children thrive and develop essential skills through play and learning. Your expertise will directly contribute to our centre's mission to provide high-quality early learning experiences that support each child's individual growth and well-being.

Key responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging educational activities and play-based learning experiences that promote children's cognitive, social, emotional and physical development
- Supervise and support children during daily routines, including meals, rest times and outdoor play
- Build positive relationships with children and create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment
- Communicate regularly with families about their child's progress, behaviour and developmental milestones
- Work collaboratively with other educators and staff to maintain high standards of care and education
- Implement and follow relevant policies, procedures and duty of care requirements in accordance with early childhood education and care standards
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of children's learning and development
- Support children with additional needs, working with families and support services as required
- Maintain cleanliness, safety and organisation of the learning environment and equipment
- Model positive behaviour, language and social skills to encourage children's development

What we're looking for

- Diploma level qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent recognised qualification




- Current Working with Children Check or ability to obtain one
- Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Understanding of child development principles and ability to implement developmentally appropriate practices
- Demonstrated commitment to creating inclusive learning environments for all children
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced early learning environment
- Physical ability to engage in active play and supervision of children
- Experience in a childcare or early learning setting is highly valued
