About Us

Stitch Coffee Bakehouse operates under the Stitch Coffee brand, supplying freshly made pastries, bagels and baked goods to six Stitch Coffee venues across NSW. Our Rosebery bakehouse also serves the local community through its retail operations.

Originally established as part of Stitch Coffee, the bakehouse has grown into a dedicated operation supporting the continued expansion of the Stitch Coffee brand.

About the Role

You will take a leading role in the daily production of pastries and bagels, ensuring that all products are prepared consistently and to a high standard. Depending on your experience, you may also oversee production planning and provide guidance to other members of the bakery team.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the daily production of pastries and bagels
- Prepare, bake and finish products in accordance with company recipes and quality standards
- Plan production schedules and ensure orders are completed accurately and on time
- Maintain consistent product quality, presentation and portion control
- Monitor ingredient levels and assist with stock management
- Maintain a clean, organised and food-safe working environment
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety and food-handling requirements
- Support,



train and guide junior bakery staff where required
- Contribute ideas for new products and improvements to production processes

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A minimum of three to five years’ relevant experience as a pastry chef or baker
- Certificate IV in Patisserie, Commercial Cookery or a relevant qualification
- An Advanced Diploma or higher qualification is preferred
- Demonstrated experience in pastry and/or bagel production
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- The ability to maintain quality and consistency in a busy production environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Functional English communication skills or a willingness to continue improving your English while working
- A reliable, positive and qualified approach
- Photos or a portfolio of your own pastry or bakery products
