About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a third- or fourth-year Quantity Surveying cadet or recent graduate to join our Sydney CBD team.

Working under the guidance of an experienced Associate Quantity Surveyor, you will gain practical exposure to a range of project management and cost management assignments.

This is an excellent opportunity to apply your studies in a skilled environment, develop your technical and commercial skills, and build a strong foundation for a successful career in quantity surveying and project management.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with cost planning, cost estimating and project cost management.
- Support the delivery of project management assignments from inception through to completion.
- Review, assess and report on variations and claims.
- Assist with preparing cost reports, budgets and project documentation.
- Monitor project costs, progress and financial performance.
- Review drawings, specifications, contracts and other project information.
- Attend client, consultant and project meetings as required.




- Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants and other project stakeholders.
- Assist with site inspections and progress assessments.
- Provide general support to the Associate Quantity Surveyor and broader Sydney CBD team.

About You

You are enthusiastic, organised and eager to develop your career in quantity surveying and project management. You will also have:

- Completed, or be in your third or fourth year of, a tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Managementor a related discipline.
- A genuine interest in cost management and project management.
- Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence working both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Previous experience in a quantity surveying, construction or property environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
