Qualifications & experience
- Loader or forklift ticket.
- Previous experience handling timber or working in a sawmill environment (highly regarded)
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Reliability and punctuality are a must
Tasks & responsibilities
- Unloading incoming log trucks with grab
- Assessing logs to make sure they are within parameters
- Feeding selected logs onto the infeed deck with grab
- Full-time, driving a modern Volvo L110F loader in a growing company. Located in a historic city with positive-priced housing and nearby access to beaches and camping/boating.
- Fixed hours on a day shift with overtime available if desired
