Padstow Bowling Club is growing its team and are on the hunt for a casual Duty Manager to join our leadership team! As a Duty Manager, you will be the go-to person for staff and customers, overseeing a agile and customer-focused environment. This is a casual role perfectly suitied for someone looking for a second job or something to work around your uni timetable.

Padstow Bowling and Recreation Club has been at the heart of the local community for over 50 years. As a popular venue for bowls, functions and social events, we are committed to providing a welcoming atmosphere and outstanding customer service.

What you'll be doing:

Supervising and supporting the team in delivering exceptional customer service

Handling customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise

Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations

Training and educating staff to confidently be able to perform all of their duties





Reporting on daily operations and identifying opportunities for improvement

Ensuring the club is presented in a professional manner

What we're looking for:

Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role within the club or pub industry

Excellent customer service orientation with the ability to lead and motivate a team

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Current RSA, ARCG and AML/CTF certifications.

Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work a range of shifts, including evenings and weekends

Experience with Senpos, Resdairy and Google Workspace is preferred.
