Harry the hirer Productions is a market leader in the provision of production rental equipment and services to the events, exhibitions and corporate sectors. From major public events and exhibitions to corporate productions and live experiences, our Sydney team delivers equipment and technical services across some of the largest events in NSW.

We are currently looking for an experienced Full-Time HR Truck Driver to join our Transport team, based from our Rosehill warehouse.

About the Role

This is more than simply driving from A to B. Our drivers are an important part of our production operation, ensuring equipment arrives safely, efficiently and on time to venues and event sites across metropolitan and greater Sydney.

- Driving HR vehicles across metropolitan and greater Sydney
- Completing vehicle pre-start inspections and submitting our online Truck Prestart Checklist
- Loading and unloading production and event equipment
- Ensuring loads are correctly distributed, restrained and secured for transport
- Safely delivering and collecting equipment from venues, event sites and client locations
- Maintaining clear communication with the Transport Desk throughout your shift
- Taking responsibility for the safe and professional operation of your allocated vehicle
- Complying with all relevant road transport, fatigue management and Chain of Responsibility requirements
- Maintaining accurate documentation and logbooks where required
- Assisting the wider warehouse and transport team when required





As events do not always happen Monday to Friday, Harry the hirer Productions operates 24/7 when required, so some early starts, late finishes, night and weekend work will form part of the role.

About You

We are looking for someone reliable, safety-conscious and comfortable working in a fast-moving operational environment.

- A current HR driver licence
- Demonstrated experience driving heavy vehicles
- A strong understanding of safe load restraint and vehicle safety
- A good understanding of heavy vehicle compliance and Chain of Responsibility requirements
- Confidence navigating Sydney and surrounding areas
- Robust communication skills and the ability to work closely with our Transport Desk
- A reliable, professional and team-focused attitude
- Good physical fitness, as the role involves regular manual handling and loading/unloading of equipment
- The flexibility to work outside standard business hours when event schedules require it

Experience within the events, entertainment, production, exhibition or equipment hire industries would be highly regarded but is not essential.
