We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our team and support the delivery of high-quality accounting and tax work for a varied client base. This is a hands-on role for someone who has completed university and is looking to start, or has already started, their CA or CPA pathway. You will work closely with Kat, Client Managers and the wider Keystone team, building strong technical foundations while gaining exposure to tax returns, financial statements, BAS, ATO matters, client queries and up-to-date cloud-based systems.

Key responsibilities

Prepare income tax returns for individuals, sole traders, companies, trusts and partnerships.

Assist with financial statements, working papers, BAS and instalment activity statements.

Support clients with bookkeeping, Xero and accounting queries, with guidance from senior team members.

Liaise with the ATO and third parties on behalf of clients where appropriate.

Keep learning through mentoring, practical experience and exposure to varied client work.

About you

Ideally 1–2 years' experience in an Australian public practice, business services or tax environment.

A willingness to start, or continue working towards, your CA or CPA qualification.

Experience preparing tax returns or assisting with compliance work.

Experience with Xero,



Excel or similar accounting software.

Strong attention to detail, clear communication and a collaborative approach.
