We're looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of supplier payments and financial transactions.

About the Role
Reporting to the Finance team, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end Accounts Payable function, ensuring supplier invoices, employee expenses, and payments are processed accurately and efficiently. Working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders, you'll help resolve enquiries, maintain accurate records, and support key month-end activities.

What you'll be doing:
- Process supplier invoices, including three-way matching, coding, and discrepancy resolution.
- Prepare and process supplier payment runs, including BPAY and online payments.
- Review and process employee expense claims in line with company policies.
- Maintain supplier records and ensure account information is accurate and up to date.
- Reconcile supplier statements and investigate outstanding items.
- Monitor and respond to Accounts Payable enquiries via the Finance inbox.
- Prepare Accounts Payable reports and assist with corporate credit card administration.
- Support month-end activities, including accruals, intercompany reconciliations, and reporting requirements.
- Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to resolve payment and invoice queries.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to maintaining strong financial controls.
About You:
You are an organised and proactive finance professional with a strong eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy. You enjoy building positive relationships, solving problems, and taking ownership of your work.
To Be Successful, you'll have:
Previous experience in an Accounts Payable, Finance Administration, or similar role.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to process transactions accurately.
Experience reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
Sound analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team.
Highly Regarded:
Experience using Oracle or a similar ERP system.
Experience within the technology, electronics, or consumer products industry.
