Are you a confident communicator who thrives on building relationships and finding solutions? We are seeking a motivated Full-Time Accounts Receivable Officer to manage account portfolios spanning over a wide range of customer segments .

This is primarily a phone-based role working from office, helping customers navigate their accounts while protecting business revenue. You will manage account portfolios spanning a wide range of customer segments, conducting high-volume inbound and outbound calls and emails to contact overdue customers.

Key responsibilities

- Oversee and action a diverse ledger of accounts, adapting your communication style to fit corporate clients and everyday small businesses
- Conduct high-volume inbound and outbound calls and emails to contact overdue customers
- Partner with internal customer service, sales, and credit risk teams to resolve billing disputes and smooth out account anomalies
- Efficiently handle objections, disputes, and broken payment promises by renegotiating terms or escalating the file
- Maintain precise, compliant file notes and customer records within databases
- Run credit checks, set credit limits, and enter customer details for new customer onboarding
- Work productively towards both individual and team collections targets

About you

- An exceptional communicator who can easily pivot from a firm,



professional commercial discussion to handle challenging financial conversations calmly
- Good problem-solving skills and a practical approach to resolving account issues
- Previous experience in debt collection, credit control, or high-volume customer service (banking, utilities, telco, or agency settings) is highly regarded
- Basic MS Office skills and comfortable learning new software and navigating multiple systems simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and good reconciliation skills
- The ability to work independently while also being a strong team player
