The Role

Building genuine relations with the clients and learning their businesses

Preparation of Tax Compliance for all entity types including Tax Returns, Financial Statements, IAS’s BAS’s, CGT, Div 7A and FBT calculations

Income tax planning

Preparation of year end accounts

Business planning, restructuring and strategic planning

Liaison with the Australian Taxation Office, including lodgement program management and tax debt management

Work both independently and interdependently

About You

Graduate or in finale year of completing a Bachelor of Business or Commerce

Eager to learn

Proficient in Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel and Outlook

You love to converse and get to know your clients

Solid analytical skills to interpret client numbers, not just produce a set of financials

A proactive mindset to assist the clients and team

Possible 1-2 days work from home after settling in period

Flexibility to set up your regular start and finish times to work around family commitments

On the job training and knowledge sharing for skill development

Great tech - work mobile and 1 additional monitor for your work from home set up for the duration of your employment

Paperless system for ease of transition between the office and home locations
