We are seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Training Officer to join our Learning & Development team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys facilitating learning, building employee capability, and contributing to a positive culture of continuous improvement.

Working closely with the Learning & Development Advisor, you will play a key role in delivering training programs, supporting onboarding and compliance training, maintaining learning systems, and helping employees develop the knowledge and skills they need to succeed.

About the Role

As Training Officer, you will support workforce capability and organisational learning through:

Delivering engaging face-to-face training and professional development sessions.

Facilitating mandatory, compliance-based, and role-specific training.

Supporting employee induction and onboarding programs.

Coordinating training schedules, resources, venues, and attendance.

Maintaining training records and reporting through the Learning Management System (LMS).

Monitoring compliance training requirements and completion rates.

Assisting with workforce development projects and learning initiatives.





Evaluating training effectiveness and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Providing support and guidance to employees regarding training and LMS access.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or an equivalent qualification in training, education, or a related discipline.

Experience delivering engaging training and adult learning programs.

Robust organisational and administration skills.

Experience coordinating training activities and managing competing priorities.

Experience maintaining records and using Learning Management Systems or similar platforms.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

A current Driver Licence and National Police Check.

Highly Regarded

Experience within community services, disability, aged care, health, or not-for-profit environments.

Knowledge of compliance training requirements and quality standards.

Experience with online learning platforms and eLearning systems
