About the opportunity

The Junior Vessel Planner is a junior role located at Patrick's National Operations Centre (NOC) in Melbourne’s CBD. Reporting to the NOC Manager, this role is a great opportunity for someone seeking exposure to the vessel, planning and scheduling function in the Maritime industry and a great prospect for long term career development.

This Junior Vessel Planner role is a fantastic entry point into the Maritime industry, and the successful applicant will be trained in and responsible for a range of tasks within the National Operations Centre function, including:

Support the Berth Schedule process

Assist in the planning of vessels

Collaborate with the Terminals, National Scheduling Manager, Client Services Managers, and other various internal stakeholders to effectively manage schedules





Provide excellent customer service to Patrick’s clients

About Your Experience and Skills

To be considered for this exciting opportunity you should have the following:

Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Management, Logistics or similar (preferred).

Exceptional communication and influencing skills.

Advanced systems and computer skills.

Strong customer focus, relationship building and stakeholder management skills.

Demonstrated critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical thinking skills.
