Morgan's IGA is a proud family-owned supermarket group operating across four stores in Victoria (Gisborne, Melton, Sunbury & Delahey). We are seeking an enthusiastic and hands- on Produce Manager to lead our fresh produce department and deliver a first-class shopping experience for our customers.

Lead our Fresh Produce Team

About the role

As Produce Manager, you will take ownership of the department and be responsible for:

- Leading, coaching and developing a team of produce assistants
- Delivering an exceptional fresh produce offer through quality, availability and presentation
- Managing stock ordering, inventory control and daily replenishment
- Minimising shrink through effective stock rotation, quality control and waste management
- Creating attractive displays that drive sales and maximise customer engagement
- Monitoring department sales, margins and profitability targets
- Managing labour costs, rosters and team productivity
- Ensuring high standards of cleanliness, food safety and workplace safety
- Building a department culture focused on customer service, freshness and results





What we're looking for

- Previous experience in produce, fresh food retail, grocery or department management
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Experience managing ordering, stock levels, shrink and department performance
- Sound understanding of produce quality standards and stock rotation principles
- A hands-on approach with the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills

What we offer

- Full-time permanent role (38 hours per week)
- Attractive salary package of $70,000 - $80,000 + Super. Based on level of experience
