MIGAS Apprentices & Trainees is seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Recruitment Administrator to join our Apprentice Recruitment Team.

Working closely with the Apprentice Recruitment Manager , you will play an important role in supporting the recruitment and onboarding of quality apprentices and trainees, while contributing to the success of the broader People & Safety team.
This is a full-time position based in Milton, QLD.

As a Recruitment Administrator, you will provide essential support throughout the recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a positive experience for candidates, host employers and internal stakeholders.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Providing administrative support to the Recruitment and People & Safety teams
- Maintaining candidate records and recruitment activity within our Recruitment Management System
- Being a key coordinator in Apprentice Assessment Centres for Hosts. This includes travelling to assessment centre sites when required
- Responding to candidate and host employer enquiries via phone and email
- Collecting and managing recruitment documentation and compliance requirements
- Booking pre-employment medicals, drug and alcohol testing,
and police checks
- Assisting with onboarding activities for new apprentices and trainees
- Preparing recruitment reports and tracking recruitment statistics
- Providing regular vacancy updates to internal stakeholders
About You
You are a proactive and detail-oriented administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and delivering excellent customer service.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- A genuine desire to see emerging talent grow in their trade careers and be part of that journey
- Current Driver's Licence
- Previous experience in a recruitment support role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- High-level data entry accuracy and attention to detail
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- A willingness to learn and develop your recruitment and HR knowledge
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft 365 skills
You will also demonstrate initiative, professionalism and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality while supporting candidates and stakeholders throughout their recruitment journey.
