Supportive and friendly working environment. Task & responsibilities Picking and packing fresh fruit and vegetables for wholesale and retail purposes. Using your knowledge of the food manufacturing industry and related regulations and legislation to ensure a premium quality product.

Directing staff activities and monitoring performance to ensure efficiency and maintain quality. Liaison between cold storage and other departments as required. Product storage and retrieval.

Maintain required stock levels. Monitor storage and inventory systems to meet supply demand. Recording and reporting as required.

Qualification & experience Working within the processing facility’s cold storage and packaging area, the core responsibility of the Cold Storage Manager is to manage and maintain operational efficiency and quality within the team. Daily responsibilities include with:



A relevant AQF Diploma or equivalent OR 3 years recent and relevant experience as a Cold Storage Manager may substitute for the formal qualifications above.

Exposure to and/or experience in all responsibilities shown above. Good verbal and written communication skills. Intermediate computer skills.

Sound knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety requirements and legislation. Ability to lead a team in a similar environment. Physically fit for the inherent requirements of the role and capable of working in low climate, controlled, environments.

An element of manual handling will also be required. Great attitude!
