The Opportunity

ROUSSOS Recruitment is partnering with a highly regarded national commercial builder to appoint an experienced Site Manager for a significant $50M project in Adelaide.

With an established presence in South Australia, the business delivers complex projects across a range of sectors and has built a strong reputation for quality, safety and project delivery.

This is an opportunity to take a senior leadership role on a substantial commercial project, supported by an experienced project team and the systems, resources and capability of a nationally established contractor.

Importantly, this is not simply an opportunity to deliver one project. With a strong forward pipeline across South Australia, there is the opportunity to continue into further major projects following completion, providing genuine long-term career stability.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will take overall responsibility for site delivery, providing leadership across the project team and subcontractor base to ensure the project is delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme, quality and commercial objectives.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading day-to-day site delivery of a $50M commercial project




- Managing and coordinating site teams, subcontractors and suppliers
- Driving construction programmes and key project milestones
- Managing construction sequencing, logistics and short-term programming
- Leading site meetings and subcontractor coordination
- Maintaining high standards across WHS, quality and compliance
- Building strong relationships with consultants, clients and project stakeholders
- Identifying and resolving site issues to maintain project momentum
- Supporting commissioning, practical completion and successful handover
- Working closely with the Project Manager and wider leadership team to achieve project objectives

The Like Mind

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager who has the leadership capability, technical knowledge and commercial awareness to take ownership of a major commercial project.

You will ideally bring:

- Extensive Site Management experience within Tier 1 or Tier 2 commercial construction
- Proven experience delivering commercial projects valued at $30M+
- Experience leading large site teams and complex subcontractor packages
- Strong understanding of construction methodology, sequencing, services and finishes
- Strong programming, planning and site coordination capability
- A trade background, ideally carpentry, will be highly regarded
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach to safety, quality and project delivery

You will be a confident site leader who can take ownership, set clear expectations and maintain momentum across a complex project, while working collaboratively with the wider project team.
