Counterbalance Forklift Driver | AM SHIFT | Eastern Creek | 44-48/hr

Action Workforce is currently seeking experienced Counterbalance Forklift Drivers to join our team at a busy transport and distribution site in Eastern Creek, NSW.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced forklift operator looking for ongoing casual work, Monday to Friday, within a rapid-paced transport environment.

Shift: AM Shift – start times can vary between 4:00am and 7:00am
Location: Eastern Creek, NSW
Pay Rate: Up to $48.57 per hour, depending on start time

Monday and Friday availability is essential, with a minimum of 4 days availability preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely operate agas Toyota counterbalance forklift
- Load and unload linehaul rigid trucks, semi-trailers and B-Doubles
- Move pallets of freight throughout the breezeway and warehouse
- Sort small to medium-sized cartons and freight
- Load local PUD tautliner vehicles
- Re-palletise freight as required
- Open and close vehicles with gates, straps and curtains
- Strap and restrain loads safely and securely
- Complete general freight handling and warehouse duties
- Follow all site safety procedures and traffic management requirements





To Be Successful You Will Have:

- Proven experience operating aCounterbalance forklift
- Previous experience within a transport, freight or distribution environment
- Experience loading and unloading trucks and trailers
- Experience handling pallets and freight
- Confident with strapping and restraining loads
- Experience working with linehaul vehicles, semi-trailers or B-Doubles is highly regarded
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Physically fit and comfor with manual handling
- Reliable and punctual, particularly for early morning starts
- Reliable transport is essential due to the early start times
- Full Australian working rights Citizens and Permanent Residents prefered
