Review and monitor women attending obstetric outpatient services who receive a consistent woman centered quality service across Antenatal clinics, Feto‑Maternal Assessment Unit & Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit.
- Where You'll Be Working Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals, part of the South Western Sydney Local Health District, work together to provide comprehensive healthcare services to the Macarthur region.
- Provide clinical governance & obstetric leadership for Birthing unit policy and procedure development.
- Review and monitor postpartum care of women in the hospital and via the midwifery‑support program at home following early discharge.
- Develop and expand models of care to meet the needs of women, including continuity of care high risk and low‑risk midwifery models, as well as GPSC.
What you need
- Current medical practitioner, registered,
or eligible for registration, with the Medical Board of Australia and Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and/or other specialist recognition as provided under the Staff Specialists (State) Award.
- 2. Demonstrated ability to comply with the service objectives of a public health organisation, including the provision of services to the local community, effective utilisation of resources, and preparedness to participate in the provision of health services at an LHD level.
- 7. To be eligible for permanent appointment to a position in NSW Health, you must have an Australian citizenship or permanent Australian residency.
