Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Director of Operations to join a agile 5-star.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will play a key leadership role in driving the resort's day-to-day operations, guest experience and overall performance across Rooms, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Engineering and other operational areas.

This opportunity would suit a hands-on and engaging hotelier who enjoys being close to the operation,



working collaboratively with teams and creating memorable experiences for both guests and Heartists.

What you will be doing:

- Lead the day-to-day operation of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and service excellence.
- Provide visible leadership and support across Food & Beverage, Rooms, Housekeeping, Engineering and other operational departments.
- Partner with Department Heads to achieve operational, financial and guest satisfaction goals.
- Drive productivity, profitability and revenue performance through effective planning and execution.
- Maintain high standards of quality, presentation, compliance and brand excellence across the hotel.
- Support guest recovery and operational decision-making with professionalism and sound judgement.
- Coach, develop and inspire leaders, building a high-performing and engaged team culture.
- Champion workplace health, safety, risk management and regulatory compliance.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness and business performance.
