Fairway Bayside aged Care is a not-for-profit aged care home in Sandringham. The home is the result of community passion by local Bayside residents who recognised the need for a high quality aged care home.

About the role:

We are looking for motivated and passionate Personal Care Assistants to join our team and help us to deliver care that enhances our resident's well-being.

We are open to all levels of applicant experience, from those who are starting their journey in aged care to those with years' of experience.

Shifts and varying hours are available for morning and afternoon. Often there are also opportunities to pick up extra shifts.

You can expect to work as part of our team to:

- Deliver outstanding personal care to our residents.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living.
- Help our residents with daily nutrition and hydration.
- Maintain accurate documentation of residents' daily care notes.
- Provide comfort and joy to our residents with dignity and respect.

Key Qualifications:





- Certified Professional: You hold a Cert III (or above) in Individual Support (Aged Care) and have experience in the aged care sector.
- Mission-Driven: You are passionate about delivering care that reflects our core philosophy and ethics.
- Holistic Support: You are proficient in helping residents with grooming, showering, meals, and staying socially active.
- Communication Pro: You possess top-tier verbal and written skills, ensuring clear interaction with residents and families.
- Detail-Focused: You take pride in following care plans accurately and noticing the "small things" that matter to residents.
- Advocacy: You have a firm grasp of resident responsibilities and rights within the aged care framework.
- Health & Safety: You maintain up-to-date COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations and possess a transparent National Police Certificate.
