On behalf of our client, a leading international operations company with a nationwide network of branches across Australia and operations across multiple regions globally, we are seeking a National Operations Director to lead the country's operations and act as the key point of reference in Australia, bridging local operations with the international leadership team.

About the role

Reporting into our client's executive team, you will take full ownership of operational performance across their Australian branch network, driving efficiency, service quality, and profitability, while serving as the main link between the Australian business and the global organisation.

What you'll do

- Lead and develop a network of branch and regional managers across Australia
- Own P&L; responsibility for national operations
- Drive operational excellence, customer experience, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Act as the primary point of contact between Australia and the international leadership team, ensuring alignment with global strategy
- Partner with commercial, HR,



and finance teams to align operations with business objectives
- Represent Australian operations at senior leadership level

What we're looking for

- Proven experience leading multi-site operations at a national or regional level, ideally within an international organisation
- Strong P&L; and commercial acumen
- A track record of building and leading high-performing teams across dispersed locations
- Comfort working cross-culturally with international stakeholders
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Based in Australia, with flexibility to travel across the network and occasionally internationally
