We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our expanding team in a part-time position. This will commence three days per week with possibility of increasing hours pending our practice evolving needs.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dental assistant to work in a premier specialist practice. You will work alongside four highly regarded specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in a professional, supportive and well-established practice.
About the Role
The position involves surgical assisting of broad range of procedures including surgical removal of Impacted teeth. Dental Implant surgery, Biopsies and wide range of OMFS procedures. You will be trained to assist in oral surgery procedures and to work in a sterile field. You will be involved in pre and post operative patient care.
About You
We are looking for someone willing to learn and be trained in oral surgery assisting and procedures, a team player who enjoys working in a cohesive team environment, and who would aspire to learning new skills and be part of a specialist surgical team.
You will ideally have:
- . Sound Knowledge and experience in infection control and sterilisation procedures
- . A professional and caring approach to patients
- . Good communication and organizational skills
- . Experience in oral surgery, dental Implant surgery would be highly regarded but not essential, training will be provided.
Hours
8.30-5.00pm
