Consultant Psychiatrist – VMO Locum

Sydney, NSW | $2,500–$3,000 per day | 3–6 months + permanent opportunity

We are working with an established private mental health service in Sydney seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist for an initial 3–6 month VMO locum engagement, with a genuine chance to transition into a longer-term permanent position.

The role offers strong daily remuneration alongside a manageable clinical workload, with approximately 9–10 patients per day across a mixture of new patient assessments and ongoing follow-up reviews.

The opportunity:

About you:

- Specialist registration in Psychiatry with AHPRA
- FRANZCP or recognised equivalent specialist qualification
- Current Australian working rights
- Ability to meet standard VMO credentialing requirements
- Availability to provide consistent cover across the agreed locum period
