Job Description

As General Manager, you will take ownership of the venue through its opening phase and beyond, building a strong operating culture and ensuring the business delivers an exceptional guest experience from day one. Working closely with senior leadership and an established bar team, you will lead all aspects of venue operations, people, commercial performance and service standards.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Lead the pre-opening process and establish effective operational systems, standards and procedures
- Build, develop and motivate a high-performing front-of-house team
- Drive exceptional service standards across beverage,



entertainment and guest experience
- Manage venue performance across revenue, labour, costs and profitability
- Work collaboratively with senior leadership, culinary, beverage and operational teams to deliver the venue's commercial and creative vision

Candidate Profile

This role will suit an accomplished hospitality leader with strong experience managing premium, high-volume venues. You will bring commercial discipline, excellent people leadership and a genuine understanding of contemporary Sydney hospitality. Experience with strong beverage-led operations, entertainment venues or sophisticated bar environments will be highly regarded.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

- Proven experience as a General Manager or senior venue leader in a premium hospitality environment
- Strong commercial acumen and confidence managing budgets, labour and venue performance
- A track record of building and leading high-performing teams
- Strong knowledge of beverage-led operations and contemporary service standards
- The energy, presence and organisational capability required to successfully launch and grow a new venue
