CT Group is seeking a Senior Consultant with an interest in business, campaigns, politics or international affairs to join our Sydney office as part of our Campaigns practice.

Campaigns Practice

CT Group’s Campaigns practice combines regulatory affairs, media management, government relations, public policy, advertising, digital and social media, and campaigns management into a coordinated effort to solve some of the most complex and pressing problems for our clients.

We use our methodology, the CT Way, to shape and influence behaviour in the desired direction by targeting the motivations of key actors or audiences utilising identified levers and messages to achieve our desired outcome. Our campaigns are evidence-based and results-focused, built on our decades of experience in political and corporate campaigns.

Position Summary

Senior Consultants independently manage defined campaigns workstreams and produce client-ready outputs with minimal supervision. They take an active role in mentoring junior staff, contribute to proposals and pitches, and develop their client relationship and project management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Working closely with project leads across a variety of different projects




- Mentoring junior team members
- Researching and analysing information for projects
- Analysing data to identify trends and actionable insights, with the ability to disseminate findings clearly and succinctly
- Drafting reports for review by project leads
- Drafting and creating presentations for both internal and external clients
- Contributing to developing proposals, presentations, and client pitches for recent and existing clients
- Identifying opportunities to expand current scopes of work, including cross-practice referrals
- Taking an active role in client pitches and presentations
- Understanding the scope of work required for projects, contacting suppliers, and conducting feasibility assessments with support from managers
- Anticipating and communicating project risks and opportunities, actively seeking solutions and raising these as appropriate to the relevant project lead
- Developing a thorough understanding of the CT Way Methodology and applying it with growing independence
- Ensuring timely responses are provided to clients and understanding and managing client expectations
