Hongqi is China's oldest and most prestigious luxury car brand, backed by FAW, one of China's largest automotive groups. We are launching in Australia and building a national dealer network from the ground up. This is a greenfield opportunity to shape a global brand's presence in a new market.

About he Role

We are seeking a Regional Manager to drive the establishment and growth of Hongqi across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and beyond. You will be constantly travelling, visiting dealer sites, attending industry events, and building relationships face-to-face. You will lead dealer recruitment, sales performance, and brand execution across your region.

What you'll be doing

Identify, recruit, and on-board current dealership partners across key cities and regional growth areas.

Negotiate commercial agreements and ensure dealer facilities meet brand standards.

Drive sales volume and market share to achieve regional targets.

Monitor dealer KPIs (sales, stock, customer experience) and implement improvement plans.

Coach and support dealer partners to maximise performance and profitability.

Champion the Hongqi brand and ensure a premium customer experience at every touchpoint.

Provide sales forecasts, market insights,



and identify new business opportunities (corporate/fleet sales).

What we're looking for

You are an experienced automotive professional with a strong track record in sales, dealer management, or regional operations. You thrive on building from scratch and are comfortable with frequent travel (up to 70% of working time).

5+ years in sales management, regional management, or dealer development within an automotive OEM or distributor.

Proven success in managing and growing a dealer/franchise network.

Strong commercial acumen – budgets, sales data, and profit growth.

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and coaching skills.

Valid Australian driver's licence and willingness to travel nationally.

Highly Desirable:

Experience launching new automotive or EV brands in Australia.

Established contacts across the Australian automotive retail industry.
