About the Role:

Due to continued growth within the Fixed Plant Shuts and Maintenance Department, Mader Group has created a new opportunity for a North Queensland Shutdowns and Maintenance Superintendent/Area Lead.

This is a full-time, Townsville based role with occasional travel to site.

We are looking for someone who has built a strong career in an execution-focused superintendent or coordinator role and is now ready to step into a Townsville-based leadership position. You'll be hands-on in helping scale one of Mader groups fastest growing divisions, leveraging your industry network, shutdown experience, and leadership skills to drive outcomes and grow the team.

You will work across a diverse and complex scope of projects and services, playing a key role in both execution and business development.

This role offers career progression and leadership without losing your connection to site operations.

What will I be involved with?

Coordination & Engagement with our Mechanical site crews - being proactively involved with our crews with regular catch ups and seeing how you can best build your team

Tendering shutdown and maintenance packages

Aid in refinement and implementation of our execution framework

Proactively developing client relations & seeing areas of growth in new markets

Providing expertise on services available within the Group

What do I need?

A robust background in a similar role within Fixed Plant Maintenance / Shutdowns or supply services companies

Trade Background

Outstanding customer relations and people management skills

Enthusiastic to win new business, build on relationships and execute plans

Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills

High-level communication and negotiating skills

Sound knowledge utilising Microsoft Office Suite
