About the role

Reporting to the Sales Director, the Regional Sales Manager will play a key role in supporting our customer and distributor network while implementing effective sales strategies to grow market share and achieve regional sales objectives.

This is a dynamic and challenging leadership role requiring strong commercial capability, technical understanding and the ability to coach and mentor a high-performing sales team. The successful candidate will demonstrate professionalism, strategic thinking and a strong focus on customer relationships and business growth.

What you'll be doing

- Develop and execute sales and marketing plans for all products within the region.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with key customers and distributors at a senior level.
- Ensure product, sales and distribution arrangements continue to meet customer and distributor requirements.
- Monitor competitor activity, customer needs and market trends to support informed business decisions.
- Participate in the development of marketing policy, including recommendations related to product line revisions and pricing changes.
- Lead the sales team in building and maintaining a strong opportunity pipeline using available tools such as Salesforce and Win Value.
- Ensure monthly and annual sales plans are achieved.
- Develop training programs to support distributors and OEM customers.
- Complete business reporting in accordance with company requirements.
- Work proactively with marketing, customer service and product teams to ensure customer service needs are met or exceeded.
- Coach,



mentor and develop sales professionals to achieve high levels of performance and professionalism.
- Champion in using Salesforce

Qualifications/Education:

Tertiary qualification and/or trade certification in a relevant discipline.

University degree or international equivalent preferred.

Experience:

Minimum 8 years’ experience in sales and marketing.

Minimum 4 years’ experience in a leadership or people management role.

Skills:

Strong technical knowledge of the industry and related products.

Demonstrated senior sales experience and customer relationship management capability.

Proven ability to lead, coach and mentor sales professionals.

Strong commercial acumen and technical competence.

Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.

Proven ability to manage priorities, drive results and achieve sales objectives.
