2Forty Group is a growing Victorian electrical contracting business with a strong reputation across commercial and data centre work. As we scale, we're looking for an experienced Project Manager/ Leading Hand to step in alongside our Director and take real ownership of day to day operations, someone who can run jobs, lead a crew, and make sound calls . This is a hands on leadership role for a technically strong electrician , someone whose judgement, standards, and ability to develop others directly shape the business.. You'll be trusted with real autonomy from day one, working closely with the Director on the calls that matter, and helping build the next chapter of a business that backs its people.

It's a genuine leadership role with real autonomy, you'll be trusted to make the calls on site.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Competent in electrical standards. Technically strong, with the confidence to know when to check something rather than guess

Experience in data centres preferred, not essential. Comfortable in live sites where accuracy matters

Leading Hand or Foreman experience,



or ready to step up into it

Confident with job management systems (Simpro experience highly regarded) and everyday tech (Microsoft 365)

Good and open communication, you flag issues early, before they become problems

Presents professionally when dealing with clients, you're often the face of 2Forty on site

Someone the crew respects and listens to

Organised and methodical, you check your own work

Looking for a long-term role, not a stopgap

WHAT'S ON OFFER

$160,000 plus super and a company vehicle

Annual performance bonus on top - up to 18% of base salary, based on project margin, on-time/on-budget delivery, safety and team leadership
