If you're after impact, there's no other organisation in Australia that delivers work on this scale.

You're ready to help shape our narrative. Your expertise will amplify the impact of initiatives, foster public trust and ensure our stakeholders are engaged and empowered by what we do.

In this role, you'll:

Be working as part of the wider Communications Partnering team sitting within the Safety Policy and Legislation portfolio. You will deliver strategic communications and stakeholder engagement across major initiatives.

This role will see you develop and implement end-to-end communication strategies and plans for high-profile projects including active transport and e-micromobility, worker's safety campaigns and road safety, regulation, policy, and workplace and sustainability. You will lead and influence communication outcomes by partnering with senior stakeholders, government agencies and internal teams to design, deliver and evaluate effective communications that support key programs and projects.

Working in a complex and stakeholder-driven environment, you will build strong relationships across Transport, other government agencies, and senior executives, providing trusted advice and driving meaningful engagement outcomes across both internal and external audiences.

The team hub for this role is located in Macquarie Park and there's the expectation that the successful candidate can commit to our 50% workplace presence requirements.

You are a skilled storyteller with strong content development, editing and proofreading capabilities. You produce high-quality communication materials across multiple channels, ensuring messaging is clear, engaging and consistent with brand, audience and strategic requirements.

You are analytical and outcomes-focused, using research, data and insights to inform communication strategies and measure success. You can manage competing priorities, identify risks and opportunities, contribute to reporting and evaluation activities, and provide trusted communications advice to stakeholders and leaders.

You bring exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build strong relationships, influence outcomes and deliver effective communication strategies in a complex environment.
