Wormald Security is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager / Security Sales Professional to drive growth across Canberra and surrounding regions.

The Opportunity

n

Reporting to the Sales Leadership Team,

n

n
- Developing and expanding relationships with government, commercial, defence, and enterprise customers
n
- Identifying and securing new project, service, maintenance, and upgrade opportunities
n
- Managing strategic customer accounts and key stakeholder relationships
n
- Leading tenders, proposals, and customer presentations
n




- Working closely with engineering and project teams to develop tailored solutions
n
- Contributing to sales strategy and business development initiatives
n
- Achieving sales targets while maintaining customer satisfaction and reputation
n

n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

n

n
- Proven experience selling electronic security solutions
n
- Strong understanding of Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion Detection, Perimeter Security, and Integrated Security Systems
n
- Experience working with Government, Defence, Enterprise, or Tier 1 customers
n
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
n
- Strong ethical disposition and customer centric approach
n
- Experience preparing quotations, tenders, and proposals
n
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
n
- Security industry knowledge and licensing requirements
n
- Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain security and AGSVA clearances
n
- Experience with technologies such as Gallagher, Geutebrück, Milestone, Genetec, AXIS, Avigilon, and similar platforms will be highly regarded.
