Core Shed Field Assistants | 9/5 Roster | Day Shift | West Wyalong

Our Client is Currently Seeking a Core Shed Field Assistants to join the team near West Wyalong, NSW.

n

This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who is reliable, self‐motivated and comfortable working outdoors and on their feet in a busy core shed and yard setting.

About the Role

n

You will assist with exploration and core processing activities, including:

n

n
- Field and soil sampling
n
- Core yard and core shed duties
n
- Processing diamond core
n
- Meter marking and orientation lines
n
- Core photography and sampling
n
- Core preparation and dispatch
n
- General housekeeping of the core shed and yard
n
- Vehicle cleaning and refuelling
n
- Participating in safety meetings and site safety inspections
n
- Assisting with general exploration activities as required
n

About You

n

To be successful, you will have:

n

n
- Current Manual Driver's Licence - essential
n
- Current Forklift Ticket, or willingness to obtain one
n
- A strong commitment to safety
n
- A reliable and positive attitude
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n




- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and schedule tasks
n
- A self‐motivated, hands‐on approach
n
- Ability to follow procedures and instructions
n
- Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods
n
- Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions
n
- Previous mining, exploration, drilling, civil or yard experience will be highly regarded
n

Roster & Location

n

n
- 9 days on / 5 days off roster
n
- Day shift only
n
- 10-hours shifts
n
- West Wyalong, NSW
n

Important - Residential Requirement

n

This position is residential and is only open to candidates who reside in West Wyalong.

n

Applicants must be currently living in West Wyalong and able to attend site on a daily basis. DIDO, FIFO and applicants residing outside West Wyalong will not be considered for this position.
