Job Description
If you're driven by making a meaningful impact on big, real-world problems, they don't get much bigger than global warming.
n
Here, you'll be part of one of the most prominent teams in Australia's fight against climate change.
n
What you'll be doing:
n
You'll work on a massive portfolio of nature-based projects that capture greenhouse gases, improve biodiversity, and protect ecosystems.
n
As Environmental Monitoring Analyst, you'll be part of the team responsible for project integrity, compliance and reporting.
n
That means being able to bring together multiple datasets (spatial, ecological, operational), and translating them into usable insights that lead to better environmental outcomes.
n
You'll work with an array of different stakeholders and deliver reporting that ensures projects are compliant, defensible, and economically viable.
n
What you'll bring to the team:
n
As well as an obsessive eye for detail, you'll need prior experience in Environmental Science, Horticulture or something similar.
n
You'll also need proven experience analysing complex datasets to deliver actionable reporting.
n
Direct experience working in carbon farming or ACCU projects is not essential, but would stand you in good stead.
n
If you are looking for more than just a paycheck, this is a role you can actually feel good about, and here's why:
n
Things you'll like about this role:
n
n
- You'll be making a positive impact: Wake up knowing your work pulls carbon from the atmosphere, fosters biodiversity, and restores fragile ecosystems.
n
- You'll have a real opportunity to progress: The environmental and sustainability sector is full of boutique outfits.
Here you'll be joining a business large enough to offer explicit, structured pathways for long-term career growth.
n
- You can learn from the best: If you want to work with smart people you can learn from, this is the place to be. They're a genuine leader in the carbon farming space, and that's no accident. You'll be joining some of the best in the industry.
n
- Work-life balance actually means something here: Enjoy 29 days of paid leave each year, giving you plenty of time to recharge alongside a flexible work environment.
